An Amazing German/Italian Collaboration comes to Bayshore
An Amazing German / Italian Collaboration comes to Bayshore in Glendale! A treat for recent German Immigrants and
for the rest of us to fall in love with. Spaghetti-Eis is a German ice cream specialty that looks like a plate of spaghetti. It was invented by
Dario Fontanella in the late 1960s in Mannheim, Germany. In the dish, an often light or white colored ice cream is extruded through a modified
Spätzle press or potato ricer, giving it the appearance of spaghetti. It is then placed over whipped cream and topped with strawberry
sauce (to simulate tomato sauce) and either coconut flakes, grated almonds, or white chocolate shavings to represent the parmesan cheese.
Although it is not well known outside Germany, it can be found at the Bayshore Mall right here in Glendale, Wisconsin. "La Coppa" Is the
real deal, created by German and Italians who wanted to bring this fantastic treat to the Milwaukee area. These pictures offer only a sample
of the amazing ice cream delights found at this fantastic German-Italian Ice Cream Shop. Stop by and enjoy!

Sprecher beer and gourmet soda sorbets
Sprecher turned to Milwaukee’s own La Coppa for a little prestidigitation capable of turning award-winning beer into gourmet sorbets. And
magic they did. La Coppa actually created a Special Amber sorbet, which will be served by the scoop ($3 per scoop). But wait! There’s
more! La Coppa also created three beer lollipops: Sprecher Hefe Weiss sorbet with lemon coating; Chameleon Witty (a Belgian white
wheat ale with spices) sorbet with orange coating; and Sprecher Black Bavarian sorbet with dark chocolate coating. The three sorbet lollipops
are sold together ($6 for a bag of three) and, like a lollipop, are eaten on a stick. Please note: Because there is a little bit of alcohol
in the beer sorbets patrons must be at least 21 years old to purchase. Sprecher beer sorbets are only available for purchase at Sprecher
Landing near SpinCity.

Wedding Desserts Month – La Coppa Gelato
Looking for a unique, delicious sweet treat to offer your guests? Look no further than gelato. While there are a couple gelato options in Milwaukee, let me introduce you to one of the most unique and authentic gelato shops in town – La Coppa Gelato.
Not only are the ingredients imported, Arthur Sawall has even brought in 3rd generation Italian artisan gelato makers to personally develop and execute the technique, flavors and design of the desserts.
La Coppa’s Difference is in the Design
While a scoopable gelato bar is an option for La Coppa, their specialty and differentiating factor is really in their design. Imagine gelato "cake" pops dipped in European chocolate, meticulously designed gelato cakes, layers of gelato served in individual glasses, even alcoholic gelato or sorbet drinks are an option.

What’s New at Summerfest? Gelato Confections and ...
A new dessert offering might not tip the scale like Martino’s mega-sized hot dog, but it’s bound to turn some heads in its own right. The new
gelato stand La Coppa will be serving “spaghetti gelato,” a dish that could be mistaken for a bowl of pasta from a distance. It’s a pile of
vanilla gelato, run through a spaghetti press and covered with whipped cream, then topped with strawberry sauce and shaved white chocolate.
For festivalgoers who prefer their snacks on a stick, La Coppa will also offer a gelato trio, three 1-ounce gelato scoops covered in a hardened
glaze, including a latte-flavored gelato covered in white chocolate and a yogurt gelato glazed with strawberry.
